Steve laid our stone patio directly outside our back door, including a step up to the door, using real stone slabs of varying sizes. We were impressed by his attention to detail, from carefully considering the stone pattern to spending hours ensuring everything was level and properly installed. Several years later, the patio remains in excellent condition and continues to be a great space for entertaining.

I focus on correct ground preparation, solid foundations, and careful laying to ensure surfaces stay level, drain properly, and stand the test of time.

My approach includes:

  • Thorough base preparation

  • Proper falls for water run-off

  • Clean, accurate cutting and jointing

  • Attention to edges, steps, and transitions

A clean, considered finish

I work carefully and respectfully on site, keeping disruption to a minimum and leaving the area tidy once the work is complete.

The result is a patio or paved area that feels well-integrated with the rest of the garden and comfortable to use year-round.
